December 19, 20241 yr Hi all, by doing some tests with AIG and FSLTL AI Traffic, AutoFPS and BATC I stumbled over something puzzling, I wonder if it is an issue on my end or a general issue: when I hit "ESC" in the sim, Frame Generation seems to get disabled. If I then use the "free look camera" to fly around the scenery and airport, FG remains off. As soon as I click on "resume", FG gets reactivated again. What the heck? My question: is there any other possibility to get into the "drone" camera without hitting the escape button? I will then check if this also results in disabling FG. Maybe it is just linked with the "ESC" button action. No need for FG in the menues, so it is not entirely a bad thing... Hello, If I understand you correct, yes you can switch drone camera by assigning a key to toogle it.I use "INSERT" key for camera toogle. I hope this helps. December 20, 20241 yr Author Ok, a quick test revealed that using the Drone camera obviously has no impact on FG being active or not, I was not talking about the Drone camera then. What I mean is the "Free Camera" you can access with the default key binding "Q" after pressing "ESC" while already being in the sim. Means: as soon as I hit "ESC", the frame generation gets inactive and it stays inactive even if I use the "Q" key for the "Free Camera". As soon as I click on "resume", frame generation is re-activated and also works in the drone camera. Strange.
