CS 717 current status

Hey!

There is a 9.99$ sale going on captainsim and I'm looking to buy the 717.

Initial reviews were mixed towards bad but since then there were numerous updates so looking to get feedback from some people using it recently.

I know it's not study level but I've actually enjoyed their 757 & 767 back in P3D v5 days. Is ir around that quality?

Appreciate any feedback,

Shom

It's not.

This is all rumor and third-hand, but my understanding is that the team was ruptured by the Ukraine-Russia conflict as some devs were Ukrainian and some Russian. Purportedly, the Russian devs focused on modeling and textures, and are the current CS team.

So far all of their MSFS aircraft use default systems, default weights and flight dynamics, and are just a cosmetic skin for the A320 or 747 flight dynamics. Even at $10 it's a pass for me.
