PFPX Pacific and Australian tracks message source

Featured Replies

I am one of the few people I guess that still sometimes uses PFPX for route planning - It is in my opinion still one of best flight planning tools available. Anyway my server subscription ran out many years ago when I used to use on almost every flight particularly on long haul flights. But since I no longer have time to do long hauls - I elected to never renew my server subscription.

As I understand the server does not work anymore, where can I get track messages for North Pacific and Australian tracks? I can get the NAT (North Atlantic) ones from the FAA track messages but can't find anything for pacific/Australian tracks.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Incorrect, the online server is fully functional.

AUSOTS are no longer published and are replaced by User Preferred Routes , PACOTS were lost in PFPX possibly due to a format change but can be obtained from the FAA NOTAM Search found listed unver Pre-Defined Queries.

NATS, METAR, TAF, WAFC winds aloft and NOTAM's all remain available via the PFPX server.

Thanks - I'll bookmark the Pacific tracks messages, with AUSCOTS - I remember they were taken out during covid back in 2020 But I guess it makes more sense nowadays to use airways/FRAs rather then tracks for efficiency.

I tried having a look at PFPX server few months back I when was not able to access their website or any information - So I presumed the servers stopped running since demand for PFPX went down. I'll have a look again and maybe get one year subscription again.
