How do I add specular map to my FS9 Chopper?

Recommended Posts

I have a nice FS9 chopper. the GMAX Bell 430 that I got from Hover Control. I managed to port it to FSX. But it lost the external skin shine. The Specular thingi? Is that a characteristic of the Texture that I can somehow add using any of the SDK tools?Any ideas?ThanksManny

You might try the Aircraft and Panel Design forum a better place to get an answer to this sort of a question.

You can author a specular texture using any of the paint programs. However, to tie it to the model, specular texture is set in the FSX Materials within gmax.If you had the source .gmax or 3dsmax file it could be done.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian
