AAO for TBM930 MSFS24

Featured Replies

Hello, firstly thank you for AAO for TBM MSFS24! I bought official version of program, installed TBM profile to my streamdeck XL, everything good but some minor buttons did not respond:

1/ taxi lights + landing lights
2/ pulse light
3/ cabin light
4/ bleed
5/ windshield ice
6/ generators

I made few reinstalls, everything is OK for me + for plugin developer.

do you have any idea how to fix it? Thank you very much! Best regards, Jan

What profile? Was this made for the MSFS 2024 version of the TBM? Did you talk to the author of that profile yet?

The author of that StreamDeck profile will have to analyze the aircraft again and figure out how these items have to be operated. The profiles are not provided by Lorby, they are made and distributed by AAO users.

Thanks for your message, Streamdeck profile already done also. I spoke to developer, there is no problem. Also, we checked with my friend, he was able to operate those buttons. Is there any setting in AAO scripts or APIs?

I've just imported his scripts and installed the SD profile. Some of the SD actions (3 and 5) are not correct. If the developer claims that these actions are working, he is mistaken. He will have to fix them.

1/ taxi lights + landing lights (page 2): checked, working
2/ pulse light (page 2): checked, working
3/ cabin light (page 4): INOP wrong BVar. Must be B:TBM930_LIGHTING_Cabin_Light_Toggle and Read is B:TBM930_LIGHTING_Cabin_Light
4/ bleed (page 2): checked, working
5/ windshield ice (page 1): INOP wrong BVar. Must be B:TBM930_DEICE_Windshield_Switch_Toggle and Read is B:TBM930_DEICE_Windshield_Switch
6/ generators (page 2): checked, working

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. What does that mean, what exactly is the problem? The SD profile is working for everybody, just not for you? Did you import the scripts that the author of that profile provided?

I just tried operating the landing/taxi light knob with the appropriate input event "TBM930_LIGHTING_TAXI_LANDING_LIGHT_SWITCH" - worked just fine.

Yes, absolutely. Profile is working fine, unfortunately those buttons did not respond. I spoke with developer of profile, he directed to you. I have version of AAO 4.51 b09, all setings done and still not working. Seems to be dead also on StreamDeck, no response for buttons. I thought that this is question for developer of AAO, not profile developer. May I change something in AAO settings?

See my list above. 4 actions on your list are working fine for me out of the box, 2 are simply broken, they cannot work and must be fixed by the author.

Sorry, but no, this has nothing to do with the AAO app. AAO is in no way aircraft specifc, it doesn't have any special code for any aircraft. It is all in the package that the profile developer provided - in the scripts that you must import in AAO, and in the SD profile itself.

What purpose would that serve? Two of the actions are just wrong, they will never work, no matter how many times you reinstall.

You did import his script file into AAO, right? This is a separate step that you have to take, it doesn't happen automatically.

Yes, I manually imported that .xml and still the same. I will do it tomorrow morning step by step again.

I don't know what to tell you, sorry. I just downloaded the package, extracted all files, imported the script file and then installed the SD profile. You can see my analysis of each of the 6 buttons above.

Just to make sure - double check that the following packages are present in your Community folder

lorbysi-content-fippanel
lorbysi-content-hooks

If they are missing, you can copy them from the AAO installation directory (by default it is C:\Program Files\LorbyAxisAndOhs_MSFS24)

These modules aren't required for everything, but if they are missing, some items may refuse to work.

ok, just tested it and still everything is working here ...

BUT: oliver noted that variables are wrong. Checked that and I have different variables here.
So, I probably updated with old profiles or whatever went wrong.

I exported everything again and uploaded a hotfix.

Please test it and report back if it works then.
