December 29, 20241 yr I suddenly have a bizarre issue where my Project Airbus A320 is "jumping" and jolting around on the ground parked at a gate -- engines off, weight and balance completely okay. It jumps around on the spot and eventually slides off of its position and completely off the taxiway centerline. When I switch to another Project Airbus A318 aircraft, that doesn't jolt around at all, yet 2 other PA A320 models suddenly have this strange issue. There has been no change to the aircraft.CFG of any kind. I recently installed ActiveSky 2016 -- I thought maybe some erroneous setting there is over exaggerating surface wind conditions, but when I start FSX without using AS, the problem still persists. I've also disconnected my Logitech joystick, and yet the issue still persists. So that's 2 potential problems that have been ruled out. Can anyone please help me understand how to fix this? I am presuming some sort of Center of Gravity issue exists...here's the weight and balance section: [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] //Cebu Pacific A320-214 RP-C3241 config //Pax Zonings station_load.0= "7605.9, 21.24, 0.000, 0.000, CAB OA (60)" station_load.1= "7149.6, -3.33, 0.000, 0.000, CAB OB (60)" station_load.2= "6541.1, -26.34, 0.000, 0.000, CAB OC (59)" -ok //Cargo & Baggage station_load.3= "2921.1, 22.10, 0.000, 0.000, CPT 1" //Compartment 1 (7500lbs) station_load.4= "3086.5, -11.99, 0.000, 0.000, CPT 3" //Compartment 3 (5349lbs) station_load.5= "1190.5, -22.67, 0.000, 0.000, CPT 4" //Compartment 4 (4652lbs) station_load.6= "171.96, -33.11, 0.000, 0.000, CPT 5" //Compartment 5 (3300lbs) //Basic Weight 42637 kgs | 93998 lb //Crew 3/4(1 OBS)= 520 kgs | 1146 lbs //Pantry Wgt Sector- DOM= 570 kgs | 1257 lbs ----------------------------------------------------------- //Dry Operating Weight/Index= 43727 kgs | 96401 lbs 56.5 ----------------------------------------------------------- //"weights in kilos" //ZFWCG/MACZFW= 31.8% / 56.7 reference_datum_position=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000 empty_weight_CG_position=0.000000,0.000000,0.000000 empty_weight=91833.343750 empty_weight_roll_MOI=0.000000 empty_weight_pitch_MOI=0.000000 empty_weight_yaw_MOI=0.000000 empty_weight_coupled_MOI=0.000000 max_gross_weight=180750.005859 [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] empty_weight=96401.4 empty_weight_roll_MOI=959904.000000 empty_weight_pitch_MOI=1710000.000000 empty_weight_yaw_MOI=1230000.000000 empty_weight_coupled_MOI=0.000000 max_gross_weight=169756 reference_datum_position=0.0000,0.000000,0.000000 empty_weight_CG_position=0.63,0.000000,0.000000 CG_forward_limit=0.18 CG_aft_limit=0.40 //Weight & Balance prepared by PB. December 29, 20241 yr I think it has something to do with the landing gear contact points sitting lower than the ground. You can raise them in the aircraft.cfg

How much more would you recommend raising them to?
January 16, 20251 yr Author UPDATE -- For anyone who might face similar issues, deleting the add-on and then copying the entire add on back into the /SimObjects folder did the trick. Not sure what caused the strange issue, but a simple "delete/add" again did the trick.

Deleting and reinstalling an addon will often resolve an issue in FSX and is always worth trying. Presumably something ended up corrupt in the original installation. Bill
