No Touch Action with GTN750 on Ipad

Featured Replies

I wonder if anyone can offer their thoughts with my latest conundrum. I recently bought the paid version of the PMS GTN750 with the idea of using it on a smaller Ipad which I have had hanging around for some time now. After installing Spacedesk and getting the Ipad to work across the desktop, I dragged the GTN750 across onto the Ipad, hoping that it would all work fine. Sadly, it doesn't! For some reason, although the unit cane be dragged across and it dispalys fine, for some reason the touch aspect doesn't work. If I drag the unit across to my secondary monitor, which is just a small 14" standard monitor which runs via HDMI, it works fine, it's not touchscreen, but I can still operate the unit with the mouse, in the same way I can on the main screen. But trying to use it via touch on my Ipad is a no no. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Never used spacedesk, but my first thought would be whether the touch works in anything else.

If you drag over a Word doc or browser window or something, can you interact with touch?

Good question! I did think about that earlier. Will check it out shortly and report back.

Just tried this today Jonathan. Other apps and things work OK on the Ipad with touch control, but the GTN seems not to like it. I can use it with the mouse, but that negates the reason why I wanted to use it on the Ipad in the first place! I will contact PMS and see if they have any idea. Cheers.

I also have what appears to be the same issue with AAO and touch screen.  My issue is basically the same where my touch screen (iPad using DUET instead of spacedesk) works just fine until I load AAO.  As another poster suggests, I can open file manager, drag to the ipad, and then close 'touching' the close.

In my case I am trying to use Air Manager and the G1000 template. I can also use the mouse to 'click' on controls, but as Rocky_53 says, it kind of defeats the idea of having a touch screen if you can't touch 🙂

Since I do use AAO extensively with multiple stream decks, not loading AAO doesn't appear to be an option.

Just trying to add another data point in a search for a solution....
