Frame Gen Install

Featured Replies

I am trying to install the Frame Gen Mod but am not having success.  I am following the directions from - https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=how+do+you+install+frame+mod+for+MSFS2024&mid=79A0373260CDA842299B79A0373260CDA842299B&FORM=VIRE - and no matter what I do, the mod doesn't show up in the settings.  What could I have done wrong?

Copilot said to go here but I don't have permission to get that folder apparently.

Microsoft Store Version:

plaintext
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.29.30.0_x64__8w

The link above has me go to c://xboxgames - Limitless - content (even though I am not using Xbox)

My xbox folder only has a Microsoft Flight simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Folder with a content folder in each.  I pasted the dll files in there but nothing happens.  Did i screw something up?

I got the mod to work easily on my 3080ti by pasting the 2x DLL files into the following folder:

C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Content

You do not need to go into the WindowsApps folder.  Did you download the Universal version of the mod and copied the two dll files from the "DLL version" folder into the sim?

Do you have HAGS enabled in the Windows Graphics setting page?

I figured it out.  It was the HAGS not being enabled.  Thanks!

For what it is worth, i did a flight with Frame Gen today from INIbuilds DTW to FSDT ORD in FS2024 with the Fenix on vatsim with lots of traffic and it was probably my smoothest flight so far on 2024.  Not sure if it was the mod or just a coincidence but it was great!
