I am experiencing very poor tracking with my new Pimax light. Coming from a G2, I am disappointed to say the least.

I have decided to go hardware tracking.

I have invested in a lighthouse faceplate, but I am not clear on what brand or model or how many VR base stations I need to have.

Advice appreciated.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Robin

I had tracking problem at first with crystal light. Turns out it was just a room light problem. Given the correct light in the room, it tracks perfectly. Experiment with table lamps or window shades etc. The overhead room light may need to be increased or decreased. A pole lamp and so forth .

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been experimenting with lighting, and whenever I think it works, it goes wrong. I have already invested in the face plate and a pair of base stations. I hope I am not wasting money; I know that my 3080Ti is now ancient. I wonder if that's why I have the tracking problem.

I am just waiting for the delivery.

I now have zero tracking problems with my crystal light. I used to have light to moderate, annoying but not deal breaking. I don't even have 1 second long tracking jumps anymore. Hours of flights proved it to me.

To use the lower cameras (they do nothing in msfs) in other sims, just remove the tape strip.
