January 16, 20251 yr I am using ActiveSky in passive mode with RealTurb version 2. Damien stated he tuned ActiveSky turbulence with MSFS turbulence set to low. Is MSFS turbulence additional to AS/RealTurb, or is it a 'magnifier' to their effects? January 16, 20251 yr Good question! I guess it must be a "multiplier" / "factor" / "magnifier" from Damian's recommendation (?) but I am not sure about it. Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
January 16, 20251 yr Author I assumed MSFS turbulence was a magnifier, but I guess it must be creating its own turbulence because there is turbulence without AS/Realturb. So maybe Damien tuning AS with MSFS turbulence on low could mean AS is a magnifier/tuner for MSFS turbulence? January 16, 20251 yr I actually don't mind the default turbulence in MS2024. I leave it on realistic. I tried the RealTurb demo but that just produced turbulence where there wasn't any and too much turbulence when there was.
