I avoid new Pimax Play drivers.

Featured Replies

I updated to the latest driver. The notes said tracking was speeded up to improve latency. All I know is that it ruined the tracking on my PCL. I reverted back to the old driver and the problem went away instantly, and tracking has been stable ever since.

The driver that is stable for me is PimaxPlaySetup_Release_toC_V1.33.01.01.05_202409271439

The new driver that greatly degrades tracking for me is PimaxPlaySetup_Release_toC_V1.35.02.01.02_202412061738

Your mileage may vary.

I advise to keep the drivers for Pimax Play all stored away somewhere. Otherwise I don't know how you could revert to old drivers.

Did you check if it reset any config items as it may have been something as simple as the local frequency being set wrong that caused the issue.
