February 7, 20251 yr Author Word on the street right now is the 50 series gpu's are having issues that they're calling "bricking", but the cards aren't truly bricking (it's just another example of misused terminology). Sounds like something needs to be fixed though, for sure, either by nvidia or bios updates. Edited February 7, 20251 yr by hangar Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

February 11, 20251 yr Author More damning evidence against Nvidia and how much power they're trying to push through these pins: On RTX 50 Series 12VHPWR Overheating - Blue's News Comments Just wow, never thought I'd see the day where I'm willing to now build a 100% AMD pc for myself. This will be a first for me, but there's no way I'm putting thousands of dollars into a case filled with over-heating components. The new intel chip runs hotter than I'd like, and now the Nvidia boards seem like they're pushing too much power (and possibly unevenly) through old standard hardware that can't safely support it. I'll be staying clear of Nvidia for awhile until there's a major change made and proven to be safe & reliable. Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
