Cockpit Lights Question - C172 G1000

Featured Replies

I have been trying to figure out why I am having so much trouble getting interior lights on in the above aircraft. I am still very new to all of this. I read that in addition to turning on the lights, you also have to turn up the potentiometers for the brightness.

So I finally found where the potentiometers were in the cockpit to turn up various lights.

However, two of them won't turn up. Something is fighting them. I have tried looking but I don't know how to find what's going on. I know how to find basic control binding issues but I can't even find what binding entries are associated with those knobs. I've looked everywhere I can think of.

Need some help. I'm sure the problem I am having is simple to fix but I can't figure it out so far. Help would be greatly appreciated.

It's weird, two of the lighting brightness knobs work perfectly but that glareshield and panel brighness knobs don't.

I couldn't figure it out either - nice to have a high quality 172 some day - Asobo version is not
