February 3, 20251 yr I also posted the below on the Just Flight TBM850 forum, but it does not seem to be very active. All of a "sudden", VLOC does not seem to be working. If while setting on the runway I tune in the ILS or a nearby VOR, the CDI in the HSI just drifts back and forth kind of from one side of the display to the other. This happens no matter what "radio" I use for NAV1 -- I have tried the GNS 530, PMS 750, TDS GTN750Xi and the KX155. This does not happen with other aircraft I have tried. I have tried re-installing the TBM850, and tried with essentially an empty Community folder, but that didn't help. I don't use any "addon" liveries. BTW, same thing happens when using NAV2 and the VOR2 gauge display. The tablet indicates there are no active failures. Thanks for any ideas. Al

Yes, I tested at KCOS, KDEN and KPUB and the problem existed at all three locations. I also tested with all controllers disconnected except for my keyboard and mouse to check for some kind of weird binding conflict. Thanks, Al Edited February 3, 20251 yr by ark
February 4, 20251 yr I see the same thing. The dev answered your post on the JF forum...he says it's a feature, not a bug--he's simulating signal degradation. I think the effect is overdone...I cannot remember ever not having a localizer locked up and stable when on the runway--otherwise how would a Cat II/III autoland ever work during the rollout?? Yes, I just saw that and was about to post the info here -- you beat me to it! Thanks for taking an interest in this issue, Al
