February 7, 20251 yr For some time now I have had a problem that the Shift I command to raise blast shield and set the aircraft for launch does not work. SWS carriers Shift I works fine but the AI Carriers do not . Any thoughts .
February 7, 20251 yr SHIFT+I will only trigger if your catapult attach point is close enough from the correct position. On some carriers it was a bit more forward than what you could expect, so you had to bring your plane a bit more forward so that it could finally get attached to the catapult. Or do you mean that you plane does indeed get attached to the catapult, but still the jet blast door don't deploy ?
February 8, 20251 yr Author Thanks for the reply Daube, The aircraft does not attach to the catapult and the Blast shield does not deploy. I Shall Try your suggestion re moving further forward and see how that goes .
