February 17, 20251 yr Hi all!!! I have a problem with pmdg planes bought in 2015. I downloaded the installation files for p3d from my account from the official site but at the time of installation it tells me that the aircraft (737-800/900 NGX and 777-200 LR/F) are no longer compatible with p3d v2.5 (the one I use). I have already contacted support but the responses were that if I don't upgrade p3d to at least version 4 or 5 I paid (10 years ago) $220 for nothing. Does anyone have a solution to my problem? February 17, 20251 yr If I remember correctly, the PMDG installers for the P3D birds support v3 and later (although I'm not sure about the old NGX). Early versions are SOL, and PMDG FSX installers don't support P3D. Anyway, there may be a fix: have you tried using the Migration Tool they discuss here? February 17, 20251 yr The PMDG birds sold in 2015 were for the old 32-bit versions of P3D (v2.x thru 3.x). The migration tool mentioned above does not work where a 32-bit executable is involved, as is the case with PMDG add-ons. It worked with xml-coded panels, but not with compiled 32-bit gauge code. I vaguely remember reading that the PMDG validation servers for their old 32-bit software versions were taken off line a few years ago, so I doubt that a reinstall on a 32-bit P3D platform is possible any more. It's the same one people use for forcing installers for v4 add-ons to work with v5 and v6. In this case, you may need to make your v2 installation appear as if it was v3. It's obviously unsupported, but well, PMDG refuses to support you anyway. You've got nothing more to lose but time.
