Hi folks, I am a bit at my wits' end. In December (last saved screenshot proof) I was able to see my green spec on a purple plane (Example: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y276/CBri...ueblack9-1.jpg)Basically I was using this as a demonstration to show Chromalusion (that's a DuPont thing on expensive auto paints... works quite well in FSX) That was on my previous graphics card (Radeon x1900xtx) Vista 32 bit.The other day I replaced the video card to an xfx 8800 GTS and also went over to Vista 64 bit (I was feeling masochistic)Drivers, BIOS and all that is (to the best of my knowledge all up to date - BIOS and Graphics card updated this morning) But since I changed the graphics card, no specular shine. (Example: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y276/CBri...lack9now-1.jpg)Does anyone know of this lack of spec shine. Of course, it could be me still... is there a "trigger" needed to allow specular to show?

Er... you don't see the green over the purple in the top image and not in the bottom? Look along the fuselage side.And take it from me, that is the specular texture that is green, not the envmap. And it is the same specular (in fact it is the whole same repaint) in both shots. Envmap? Am I missing an envmap? I see the reflection of mountains on the wing in the top image and a different "landscape" in the bottom, but envmap ought not to affect specular colour. No?Oh - just checking back to make sure - the sun is at the same relative angle (see shadow on wing) and also - I signed up so long ago - I really need to edit my profile.
