Oh there is quite a bit of stuff that needs to be done. Security screening depending on the type of flying you are doing, 135 charter or 135 scheduled, airport rescue services, size of the aircraft, proving runs, IFR or VFR all for the operating certificate. There is also quite a bit more but that is enough stuff I think to get you started. Chapter 14 of the CFR's should have most of your answers.
