March 12, 20251 yr I tried using it to remove the co-pilot on the Norden earlier this morning. It didn't work. Nice idea but if it doesn't even work on one of their aircraft, I think it goes down as a fail for now. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
March 12, 20251 yr Does removing the co-pilot using the weight balance system hidden away in the EFB work with the Norden ?

It works before loading the flight, not sure about after that. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
March 12, 20251 yr An official response from another forum - Quote Yeah, the new Character system uses a regional lock that automatically loads passengers depending on where you are located in the world. In the EFB, the way it works (after hours of researching the html code) is that the user must press “Load in Aircraft” in order for the simulator to trigger the attach/detach script. Its been exclusively designed via these coherent listeners to require the EFB to load/offload these new characters. After digging further, only the passengers have a proper seat removal assignment. Copilots have been ignored completely (in regard to weight) at the moment. In my honest opinion, our team has access to MSFS 2024 prior to release and the passenger/character system has changed dramatically. Therefore, we think it’s best to allow Microsoft/Asobo some time to fix this aspect of the simulator before we try to incorporate the trigger mechanisms directly in this legacy panel. The last thing we want to do is add a button, like the EFB. We like the simplicity of loading live payload values and not using “seat selection” visuals. We will definitely revisit this area in the future, but right now, the implementation itself still needs some major improvements with the EFB first. It’s near impossible elswise to get it working with the Legacy Panel the way they are currently sending trigger events. Not to mention they need to fix the core issue in the EFB for copilots first… that way they load/offload with the same process as passengers. As for the Got Friends aircraft, the next batch of updates changes all copilots to passengers until this is resolved. Of course, you’ll have to wait for Microsoft’s next ingestion process of these official updates. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
