Nope

Aaah ... right ... that's a clue. That means something might have gone wrong when I translated from DDS to KTX2. Back to the drawing board!!!!

Some information for anyone messing with converting DDS to KTX2 format:

It appears that when using the SDK to do the conversion, it somehow detects (or guesses) the base model used by the textures - then codes that into the KTX2 header (which are an Asobo addition to the regular KTX2 format).

In this case, the model picked up always ended up being the passenger variant - not the freight one - so the livery (when enabled) always showed up as a passenger variant.

It's beyond my limited knowledge of this conversion process to work out how to control this behaviour. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears (!).

I created a version of the Eva Air livery with a more 2024-friendly aircraft.cfg (and the additional thumbnails) but using the old(er) DDS format textures. That all worked fine, but is probably all unnecessary as the original DDS livery worked anyway - other than maybe not being grouped properly in the aircraft selection menu.
