March 23, 20251 yr Hi Nico, I hope you are well. I noticed some minor differences after the update that fixed sys error 23. 1) Before update, it was not necessary to keep Realtraffic open, but now if I open it, it shows a message saying that it is waiting for Realtraffic. It works fine after starting. 2) Some random "stopping" are happening, for example in Realtraffic I see the aircraft moving, but in LNM they are freeze. After restarting everything works again. This usually happens after some time in the flight. 3) The update to the nearest airport always worked very well even without entering the ICAO of the destination airport. Now I have the impression that it takes a little longer and sometimes recognizes it after I am on the ground. EDIT 4) Sometimes I click to close and a message appears saying "Close windows button clicked, closing PSXTraffic" and it ends up staying on this screen. The only way to close it is through the Windows Task Manager. I don't know if these minor issues occurred after the update or if it was a coincidence, but I have noticed these points with some recurrence. If you have any ideas or recommendations, I will be happy to apply them. Thank you. Cristiano. Edited March 23, 20251 yr by cricorrea
March 24, 20251 yr Hi, All these issues are not related to the sys error 23 fix and the minor updates that came after. Sys error 23 was about loading a file from the server. @1 Why don't you move to PSXT? Then you no longer need the RealTraffic app. Works much faster and better in my opinion. @2 Be aware, what you see in the RT Radar is not necessaraly what you will see in the Sim. The data quality can be low at times resulting in a "freeze" in the sim, while Baltahasr in his RT app can still move the aircraft (2D is much easier the n 3D) @3 Don't know what you mean with "The update to the nearest airport" Could you elaborate on this, pls? @4 I've seen that too sometimes, it is on my to-do list to make exiting more smooth.
March 25, 20251 yr Author Hi Nico, thanks for the quick response and your support. @1 I'm using PSXT, but if I simply connect it, a message appears asking me to connect Realtraffic and it doesn't inject until I open it (see image on the link). @2 I understand. When I say freezing, I mean it simply stops all the aircraft in the positions they are in. It's as if it has frozen and only returns to normal after restarting. @3 I mean that when I get close to the airport, it always starts loading the aircraft on the ground whenever I get close. This works great even when I don't enter the destination airport. When I get close, it simply injects aircraft on the ground, but I've noticed that sometimes it either takes a while or only loads when I'm already on the ground after landing. @4 Got it. Thank you very much for that. It has been freezing and I can only close it by ending the process in Windows. Thanks again for all your help. \https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/xlxc4wgoaohuxu71fldlw/PSXT-Error.jpg?rlkey=mdhye6nd2if1ftzl8pn7z4bza&st=e0curv3h&dl=0
March 25, 20251 yr The image link you provided shows PSXTraffic - that is NOT PSXT. PSXT is a different program than PSXTraffic. PSXT runs without RealTraffic, whereas PSXTraffic requires RealTraffic to be running. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
March 25, 20251 yr Author Good point...I had forgotten about that little detail. Thanks for letting me know. I'll install the standalone PSXT version.

That's by design. @3 Then there probably was another airport nearby. It chooses the one that is closest by, so it can happen that the switch to the destination airport is rather late, because of the other airport so closeby, it had to switch from the other to your destination. Hope you understand Edited March 25, 20251 yr by kiek
