June 23, 200817 yr I'd like to try FSMetar but it won't let me download - something about my browser's security settings won't allow it. Anyone know what particular setting this might be? Or an alternative download location? June 23, 200817 yr >Yes, I have both of the programs and spend time using both. My>interests in X-Plane are only as an owner of the program, I am>not trying to sell it to anybody.>My interest in X-Plane lies with the global scenery topography. Although it has it's own way of producing flight dynamics, I still prefer a few 3rd party aircraft for FS9/FSX.Perhaps I'll go back and forth between X-Plane's weather, MSFS's weather, what it looks like outside, and XM Satellite weather on my GPS to see who's doing what....L.Adamson
June 23, 200817 yr Author L.Sounds like a good plan. Let us know your findings.I haven't lost interest in FSX or it's airplanes either (especially flight dynamics), but was getting a little burned out. Therefore learning X-Plane's capabilities is my current interest.I am getting off-topic though, and any further comments really belong in the X-plane Forum.Regards, Thanks for the input.Thrakete
