what programs are easy enough for a rookie to imput a satelite image of area around airports . sbuilder wont seem to work for me says some sdk terrain file or somthing is missing is there another program out there. cause it comes up and also says that fs04 not found. but if there is any others out there im all ears thanks

Global Maper is a commonly used program for satellite data. You can import an image and give it the correct coordinates then export it as a tiff file with correct geo references. Then you can easily make the bgl with the instructions in the sdk. I would head over to fsdeveloper.com if you want some good help.

All methods that I am aware of use the MS SDK program "resample.exe" to create the actual finished scenery. You need to install the SDK from FSX deluxe or acceleration to get it.scott s..
