Featured Replies

Howdy folks,Does anyone else have two TV towers in Berlin? This is with default scenery, no extra Berlin scenery installed. Only scenery fo the area is UTX Europe and Scenerytech Europe...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/190691.jpg

I would hazard a guess that when you say "with default scenery" in your case it is default scenery with Acceleration installed. Is that true?If it is you should download and install the small update for Ultimate Terrain when it is used in conjunction with FSX + Acceleration. All the information you need is available on the Ultimate Terrain area on SimForums.A direct link to the appropriate post ishttp://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=23111Jeff

Good reply! I hope that helps. My idea was to make jokes about the second Lord Of The Rings book, with some Freudian references to FSX-Berliners compensating for an inferiority complex. Jeff ShylukAssistant Managing EditorSenior Staff ReviewerAVSIM

I have Acceleration installed as well. It didn't cross my mind at all it could have impact like this. Thanx for pointing me in the right direction. I installed the small patch and one Fernsehturm disappeared :)

Passed right over me. What are you talking about? You do realize, that a "Berliner" is a type of jelly donut. It is NOT a reference to people of Berlin, as JFK said "Ich bin ein Berliner" = "I am a jelly donut".RhettFS box: E8500 (@ 3.80 ghz), AC Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64ASX Client: AMD 3700+ (@ 2.6 ghz), 7800GT
