FS 2024 - Default ATC and setting Cruise ALT...

Featured Replies

In this video, a sort of tutorial for ATC in FS 2024: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh4b-ddrBVw

the author goes through a full IFR flight setup, in the default Baron 58, using default ATC.

Well, I was trying the same in the default CJ4, a flight from Sevilla to Lisboa (LEVL - LPPT) and used SimBrief to create the FPL, which gave me a Cruise FL 410, but when I use the EFB in MSFS 2024, with the CJ4 loaded at teh ramp, after in the World Map having properly set the departure and arrival airports, it sticks to FL 143 and there's simply no way I can change it 😕

The most I can do is accept it that way and then once I take off and am told to coordinate with Departure or any other ATC agent, ask it for a higher cruise alt, but all of the flgihtplan that the EFB correctly imports from Simbrief, in terms of PERF is still based on a Cruise FL 143 ...

Have you guys found any way to force your FL in the EFB?

EDIT: Just found these other threads:

In my opinion, the default planner and ATC simply don't work. Even if I correctly specify the flight level in it in EFB and save it, ATC knows nothing about my plan.
