Good question and apart from the already mentioned Flight1 Cessna 172R, built for FS2004 and 'fixed' for FSX, I can't think of a good 172 addon. I find this very strange somehow; there aren't more virtual replica's of the most common GA airplane in this world available for flight simulator. I still hope Carenado will do an older type Cessna 172 someday, like a 172M or N.

Cheers, Bert

The Flight1 C172 is a nice little plane - easy on the FPS and seems to fly well. Sometime ago, I did ask the RealAir guys about putting one together as I love their work and although they had considered it they felt at the time (and rightly so) that there were more important planes to develop given the existence of the in-FSX and Flight1 packages ... still, I would love to see a RealAir C172.Triangle :-)

The Flight 1 Cessna 172 is excellent and works perfectly with SP2/Acceleration. It's probably the plane I fly more than any other in FSX except maybe the RealAir Scout.JimDell XPS 420 Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0 ghz3 gb dual channel 800 mhz DDR2 RAM512 mb nvidia 8800GT500 gb SATA drive 7200 rpmSoundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Music22" Acer widescreen LCDWindows Vista Home Premium
