May 30, 20251 yr In the FSX days I loved most the bush 'flight zones', that is a bundle of nice little sceneries (about 5 to 9 airfields/strips) with consistent design/graphic style, within reasonable distance, for a good price. Examples are: Fly Tampa Grenadines, OrbX Pago Pago, Tongass Fjords X (discontinued). For FS2024 I'm currently tempted by Hells Canyon by Backwood Studios. Are you aware of other flight zones natively available for FS2024 or in the making? Edited May 30, 20251 yr by Simicro FS2024

Orbx has PNG Highlands packs 1-3 and several Idaho sceneries Deadly 3, Not So Deadly 3, Soldier Bar, and Fire Lookouts. Plus there are dozens of freeware bush strips available there as well as in Wyoming and Montana. Parallel 42 has great sceneries well worth picking up. I thought they were a bit expensive until I bought them and realized I loved flying their Northern California strips in a circuit. They are working on making them all 2024 compliant. Lastly, there is a freeware pack that has several strips in the Pyrenees.
May 30, 20251 yr Author Many thanks to you Gulf76. Good addition, I'll have a look. Sure there are some airfields sold individually, but I guess there are also some bundles (=flight zone = cheaper). I had a look at Parallel 42 sceneries, I like them 🙂 FS2024
May 30, 20251 yr If //42 released one new scenery per week, I would purchase every single one of them. Great dynamic environments breathing life into bush flying! I like flying them in the Classic Aircraft Simulation J3 Cub. No flaps and shoddy brakes really creates quite a challenge. Must hit your marks and if you don’t, well you get to see all the damage to your plane. 😂 And you’ll definitely be getting a workout on your forward slipping skills. Also, if you pick up the Hells Canyon Pack and you’re on PC, download the free Airport from Hell strips on FSTO. They mix in nicely with that payware pack and I actually like some of them better than what’s in the pack. Edited May 30, 20251 yr by Gulf76
