NOTAM:  FS2Crew for the iFly 737 Max8 has been released!

Product notes!

This product is a direct port of FS2Crew PMDG 737 SOP 1 made to work with the mighty MSFS 2020 iFly 737 Max8.

It should work 'out of the box' with the "MSFS 2024" version of the iFly 737 when iFly releases it.  The FS2Crew Product Manager already has the 2004 option enabled.

Some FMC data could not be read directly from the iFly aircraft (such as V1, VR, Transition Altitude, and Cruise Altitude.)

That said, you must manually enter the takeoff speeds on the FS2Crew Departure Brief page since we cannot auto-populate those fields at this moment in time.

However, the good news is that the FS2Crew Team made a request to the iFly developers so we could pull this FMC data directly.  They agreed, and in the next iFly Service Update, we should be able to pull the takeoff speeds, etc., directly out of the FMC, thus saving you the trouble of manually entering the takeoff V speeds, etc, in the Briefing panel.

A big shout out to the iFly developers for helping make FS2Crew integrate better!

SOP 2 and 3.  Is that coming too?  Well,  if we do an SOP 2 or 3 depends on market forces.  We'll see what the demand is like for SOP 1 to see if it warrants the development costs associated with producing SOP 2 and 3.

Have a nice weekend!

And enjoy your new flight crew in the mighty iFly!
