This started out of the blue after working fine for years.

I click Quit to Desktop and the program minimizes to the task bar, but remains there and MSFS is using like 30% of CPU. I have to go to Task Manager to kill MSFS. On the Task Manager it says "Not responding" in red. 

 

I read about this on the MSFS forum where several reported the problem in 2024 but there was no mention of its resolution.

Anyone else having this problem or know how to resolve it?
