KDFW Runway 17C ILS signal issues

Featured Replies

Hello Gang!

Has anyone noticed any issues with shooting ILS approaches into runway 17C at KDFW?  Yesterday while shooting an ILS approach into ru7nway 17C at Imaginesim's KDFW, my ILS signal was fine until intercept time when the needle wet all the way in the wrong direction, signal was lost, and I had to take over and shoot manually.  I did this circuit with PMDG's new 777-300, Imaginesim's KDFW for MSFS2024 version, and using Navigraph's Navdata.  Interested in any insight.

Thanks

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

I'm guessing it may have something to do with the fact that the localizer freq for both 17C and 35C are the same.

I wonder if the PMDG 777 uses the localizer data encoded in the scenery, or what's in it's internal database.

I've started flying in 2024 again the last few days since the iFly was released, and I've been having issues with ILS at various airports. No such issues in 2020 at the same airports.
