Landing Analysis

I feel the landing....with my Microsoft FF2 joystick. It's as good as you can get with Flight Simulation as it exists today.

So yeah, it runs great and it works fine, it's just some of the readings appear to be a bit wonky. Unless I really have perfected landing in a taildragger, I doubt that I should be able to land at +55 FPM :-lol

hehe, sounds interesting. I will have to try it out.Those values are straight from FSX so there isn't much I can do to muck it up. Although, in software I guess there is always a way.One thought is that because I am polling FSX every 100ms you might have bounced and it took some of the readings from when you where going back up.I decided to do another version that does circuit analysis and it also saves various settings so it starts up again with the same settings you left it with. I could also make the 100ms configurable so you could set it to a smaller number to reduce the impact of bouncing. Unless someone knows how to detect the instant of landing without polling!?Steven.
