October 4, 200817 yr I feel the landing....with my Microsoft FF2 joystick. It's as good as you can get with Flight Simulation as it exists today.
October 5, 200817 yr Steven,Brilliant! A job well done! It works perfectly, thank you for a great tool!Cheers! :-beerchug Regards, BoeingGuy ASUS P5E X38 | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz on 1600 MHz FSB (400x8) | 4 GB DDR2-800 RAM | EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked @ 679/979 | 320 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 RPM HD
October 6, 200817 yr So yeah, it runs great and it works fine, it's just some of the readings appear to be a bit wonky. Unless I really have perfected landing in a taildragger, I doubt that I should be able to land at +55 FPM :-lol
October 6, 200817 yr Maybe your tailwheel hit while you were floating...:) Regards, BoeingGuy ASUS P5E X38 | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz on 1600 MHz FSB (400x8) | 4 GB DDR2-800 RAM | EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked @ 679/979 | 320 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 RPM HD
October 6, 200817 yr hehe, sounds interesting. I will have to try it out. Those values are straight from FSX so there isn't much I can do to muck it up. Although, in software I guess there is always a way.One thought is that because I am polling FSX every 100ms you might have bounced and it took some of the readings from when you where going back up.I decided to do another version that does circuit analysis and it also saves various settings so it starts up again with the same settings you left it with. I could also make the 100ms configurable so you could set it to a smaller number to reduce the impact of bouncing. Unless someone knows how to detect the instant of landing without polling!?Steven.
