CRJ-200 Rikaroooo Thrust Reverse?

Featured Replies

The internet says this particular aircraft doesn't have thrust reversers.

However the Rik version (V5+) has an auto thrust reversers knobs on the pedestal, lower left? P3D doesn't see them (I activate reverse but there is none), so am I doing something incorrectly? i.e. speed lower than X etc. As a note I tried them while on the runway before TO, not moving etc.

On the other hand this jet is a joy.

Yes, the detailed interior modeling is very nice, this one responds to burbles in the air! Crossing 9'K range produces a bit of drop and roll, the next time the nose lifted.
Sound is "standard." meh
Last flight I had a generator failure which I was able to resolve. Btw, how do you declare a mayday in ANY atc interface, the built in, FSHud, Pilot2atc?

I would pay for this one.

The CRJ 200 does have reversers. Their pneumatic and must be armed with two switches on the pedstal prior to deployment. Thrust levers also have switches, pull them over the gate, hold the switches until the interlock releases, then pull them into reverse.

The internet lies.

Thanks for the reply.
The switches and knobs are decals only, not movable and as I said they do not engage. So I guess this is a missed function...for show only?
edit - Must be more misguided than ever...I just tried it again and it works?
Thanks again.
