August 16, 2025Aug 16 The RZ Axis on my one year old TCA A320 Captain's sidestick is uncontrollable in such a way that whatever input I give, it is going from center position at once to either left or right maximum position only. No way I can get it to go smoothly from center to maximum left or right. How can I resolve this? All other axis work perfectly still. Or is it time for a new stick? August 16, 2025Aug 16 I have this hardware calibration procedure for the Airbus TCA/T16000.M joysticks in my notes: Shut down the PC and disconnect the joystick. Then unplug the joystick and start the computer. Analog Axis Calibration 1.Plug the A320 joystick to USB while pressing simultaneously on button 7 and 13 2.Move all the axis and reach all the maximum and minimum mechanical travel Move the handle to the upper direction and touch the housing without exercising too much force. Re-produce the same operation for the down, left and right direction. Twist the handle and reach the left and right mechanical stopper without exercising too much force. Move the throttle to the upper direction and touch the housing without exercising too much force. Re-produce the same operation for the down direction. 3.
