August 16, 2025Aug 16 I am on MSFS2024 SU2. All was working real fine till now, when at start-up I was shown a message saying, that the data in the cloud were newer than the data on my PC. I selected the newer data in the cloud. Since then my Community folder content is not loaded anymore. How can I change back MSFS2024 to load my Community content? Thanks for any helpful instructions.
August 16, 2025Aug 16 So i recently had a weird issue with my community folder also, but then realized that you must access the Marketplace within the game, then go to "My Library", and then click the gear icon next to the search bar. From there, you can view the current location, open it, or browse and select a new location for your add-ons. Once the location is correct make sure you "select all" and "enable". Hope this helps.
August 16, 2025Aug 16 Author Hi Tony P Exactly! That was the solution! Thank you very much for your detailed procedure!
August 17, 2025Aug 17 You can also do it through editing of "UserCfg.opt", and near the end of the file change the string with the Path to the "Packages" folder to whatever you need it to be> InstalledPackagesPath "C:\Path\To\Your\Packages" Then you-ll have to manually copy / move the full "Packages" folder from it's default place, usually: Microsoft Store/Game Pass version: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache Steam version: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator That's how I always do it when installing FS 2024. I install the sim, then start it a first time, and leave the session as soon as it loads the main menu, and then edit "UserCfg.opt" Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
