Hi,

I have been using Addon Linker for a quite a while now with no issues. Recently, when I select the files I want to load into my community folder and hit the 'launch simulator' button - rather than the simulator loading straight away, I get a dialogue box asking me if I want to 'Load Flight Simulator?' - when I select 'Yes' - I get another dialogue box saying 'The Simulator has been launched and should start soon' - and the simulator does not launch. I have removed the \ProgramData\MSFS Addon Linker 2024 file, and redownloaded and reinstalled Addon Linker 2024 again , but still get the same issue when I try and launch the simulator.

I am trying to work out how to fix it, and would welcome any help.

EDIT: I just realised that I had not 'disabled' the warning dialogue boxes in the options - which I have now done. So, current situation is that when I hit the 'launch simulator' button - no dialogue boxes appear - but the simulator does not launch. What am I not doing?

The latest addon linker has two separate programs, one for 2020 and one for 2024. If you are using the wrong one for the version of msfs that you have then it won't be able to start. 

Thanks for your response - but I can confirm that I am using the 2024 version of the program.

Are you sure? Since you got that dialogue that you didn't get before, you might have ran a different version.

I made the same mistake a week ago.

Thank you for your response. You will note from the EDIT at the bottom of my post that I have now got rid of the dialogue boxes, so comfortable in confirming I am using the 2024 version of addon linker.

Just the fact that you got that dialogue at the same time it didn't launch the sim anymore might be a sign you used the wrong version. Of course you can switch of the dialogue in any version.

But if you're sure you used the right version, there must be another reason.
