If anyone is still following this thread and or looking at flying the PC12 NGX, I found some decent videos on this aircraft... a little music at the start but it fades away to quiet background noise and has nice ATC comms and some stunning views.

I had just watched this one approaching KTRI in moderate to heavy rain

Very nice video, Ryan. That’s the way the Pros do.

The part after they capture the localizer to touchdown, in rain and clouds, is quite exciting.

While living in Ohio, I’ve driven that segment a couple of times, across the Appalachians, to Tennessee.

Also liked the music and the accent of the PIC…🙂

Thanks for staring…!

Ryan:

I was watching the last 8 mins of the PC-12 NGX video one more time now.

In rain and clouds, I noticed the PIC grasping the top edge of the glare-shield occasionally. Was that possibly to stabilize oneself in some shaking of the a/c…just wondering…

It’s cool how the ILS chart is popped open in dense clouds with nothing visible outside the a/c.

I presume, that chart is actually in the avionics somewhere, superposed by the video content creator for our ease of view…

I’ve flown the PC-12 NGX in MSFS many times; clearly the RW is quite different from our virtual world, we should not be fooling ourselves…🙂
