August 28, 2025Aug 28 I just wanted to share two fixes that the community has done (it's always the community isn't it?) to fix most of the PC-12 NGX, the default aircraft in MSFS 2024. I honestly recommend the aircraft now. There's still some quirks, the AT is touchy, but I always feel a little weird using AT in a small aircraft like this - I tend to manually control the power. Anyway there's a pressurization fix along with one that adds a nice beta range. https://flightsim.to/file/88952/pc12-ngx-pressurization-fix-msfs2024 https://flightsim.to/file/93030/pc-12-ngx-throttle-beta-range-implementation The only thing left imo is for Carenado to fix the AT and for someone to come along and fix the sounds... they're just not quite right. This isn't to say that it's anywhere close to the superb Black Square TBM or FSReborn M500 by any means, but it's a solid default aircraft imo with these additions. I hope you'll give it another try and then (shameless plug), try some of the nice liveries available for it: https://flightsim.to/liveries/pilatus-pc-12-ngx/most-downloads/ edit: Forgot to mention - the Honeywell Epic has a ton of free downloads/support/manuals along with some amazing tutorial videos (for the real one). You do have to register at Honeywell's site but it's free. I've got a pretty good handle on the avionics now for this (done by WorkingTitle) but if you need help just send me a DM. If you are totally opposed to registering for yet another site you can scour through this youtube playlist and find ones related to the PC-12 NGX https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6-jSEFodNUl-vI-kzLucME7e72xz5xDp Edited August 28, 2025Aug 28 by ryanbatc | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 28, 2025Aug 28 Do we still need the pressurization fix? I have tested the PC24 and that's fixed in SU3, but haven't checked the PC12. In the middle of a career mode flight right now, so can't test.. has anyone confirmed that it's still broken in SU3? 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

I actually haven't checked... because ive been using the fix for so long. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
August 28, 2025Aug 28 I really want to fly it, it’s a fantastique plane with capabilities and a lot of uses cases. But it lacks livery’s, Tradewind, St Barth Executive, Jetfly, haute aviation many airlines are flying PC12NGX but I cant find any livery for them. recently someone released a Fly7 livery pack for it, that’s a good start. This is a common problem for default planes, there is a shortage of livery’s in 2024. The PC12, C172, C208, SR22 all of them need love. I would love Asobo to release a tool to design livery’s in game

No you obviously can, but the paint kit is harder to get since you have to use the « projector », then their is the new format is « Ktx2 » which is not straight forward as before. also I want to learn how to make livery’s in MSFS2024 but I found no tutorial or help on YouTube nor in the dev forum since livery’s are not compatible from a Msfs2020 plane to a MSFS2024 planes, you see very few livery’s for default planes
November 5, 2025Nov 5 Good airplane ... with terrible sound, unfortunately 😒 Edited November 5, 2025Nov 5 by ilpagaia
November 5, 2025Nov 5 I intended to get round to learning the funky avionics for this (and also because I’m dying to get to grips with the Dornier floatplane at some point too), but life’s just too busy atm. Are there any good tutorials for the avionics? i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

Slightly dated so some of the bugs mentioned are fixed, but a great tutorial nevertheless - 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

November 6, 2025Nov 6 You’re welcome. I really enjoyed the NGX avionics once I learnt it, and it’s easy enough. Just takes a couple of flights. It’s a lot of fun using something different.. the Garmin stuff is great but kinda boring when every plane uses it. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

I mean I probably prefer a Garmin G3000 or 5000, but the Honeywell is just different and interesting to learn its quirks. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 7, 2025Nov 7 GREATLY appreciate this post, Ryan! Your perspective & advice are valued. 🙏 I'm not sure I'm up for learning yet another avionics suite (time is just too limited), but this aircraft is one of my favs from IRL trips (in the back, of course 😉 ).

February 3Feb 3 Author If anyone is still following this thread and or looking at flying the PC12 NGX, I found some decent videos on this aircraft... a little music at the start but it fades away to quiet background noise and has nice ATC comms and some stunning views.
