The new "Historic" weather in 12.3...

Featured Replies

Haven't had much spare time to check all of the bells and whistles coming with 12.3 beta but wanted to test this one, using RW weather like the frontal system crossing Continental Portugal during this weekend, and it surely works GREAT!

I used the new option to adjust Real Weather to sim time, then went ahead and made the sim time vary along the day, and it was very consistent with the various types of weather that we experienced at LPMT, LPCS and LPPT.

Really nice and important feature ! and as far as I could tell, very plausibly modeled !!!

Flightdeck2Sim is one of the youtube rw pilots streaming about the new weather features too:

I wonder if this historic time is messing with my networked setup. Jump to 1:34 into the video, never seen it that bad before.

Weird indeed 😕

I guess we will have to wait a bit more for LR to sort out those and other network issues you've been mentioning because AFAIK Xp12 is in the Professional market too and I believe they have for that multi monitor / multi station solutions.

For me it is no problem since I have a single CPU / GPU solution, with a single monitor and a second one I use for ancillary aps...

Hi,

Looks like I found the issue and it has to do with historic weather and the server computer not telling the external visual computers the proper date and time. I'll let L/R know.
