Turned up late, just to catch the Typhoon and Red Arrows. Wow, did we pick the right spot.

St Aubins Bay forms a natural amphitheatre, perfect for a display. I decided the best spot would be closer to the castle, away from the crowds. 

Its been a long time since I've had fast jets flying very low and right over our heads. And the acoustics were awesome. Typhoon was amazing, of course, but I'm not usually too bothered about the Red Arrows, but today, the red Hawks directly over head was epic.

Well worth watering eyes from the high winds.

I usually watch the Fleetweek Blue Angels from my backyard or up on my roof!  Can't see any of the low
level antics but they fly very low over my house for some of the show.

Nobody flies in such close formation as the Blue Angels.

Edit: accept cats. Cats are experts in formation jumping. Much better in all aspects of flying that Blue Angels.
