October 4, 2025Oct 4 I sues to use the stopwatch to be able to ensure I am back to normal speed after using time acceleration. However, all of a sudden now my stopwatch stays at normal time even when in acceleration mode. Does this happen to others? If so, what other ways are there to measure time acceleration? Thanks.
October 4, 2025Oct 4 Which aircraft? I don’t recall the stopwatch/chrono ever accelerating with sim rate. The onboard clock and ET/lapsed time counter should accelerate though - at least in the Fenix and PMDG.

I am referring to the 2024 General EFB from the menu. I read somewhere a good, if not only way, to confirm if you are flying real time or accelerated was to open up the stopwatch and see if time is increasing in real time or faster. Been doing it for years.
October 10, 2025Oct 10 This works fine in the SU4 Beta. The stopwatch speeds up at higher sim rates. You might also want to have a look at Sim Rate Monitor for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS This little app provides an overlay that tells you the sim rate directly. Very handy and works fine in the Beta. Good luck.
