October 19, 2025Oct 19 Is anyone else getting excessive glideslope warnings with the PMDG 777, even when you are virtually bang on the glideslope all the way down to touchdown? It has happened three times to me over the weekend. I have just landed at (Pyreegue) EGPF Glasgow, and I had a couple after passing through 100 feet when I was perfectly stabilised and on track Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

No such warnings appeared. I noticed that on both autolands, the touchdowns occurred at or passed 2,000 ft. That's unacceptable and would cause an autoland evaluation to fail. Unfortunately, their products have been quite buggy lately. I wonder if it's an issue during installation (it happened to me that I had to install their products two or three times to fix some issues), or maybe you're using third-party scenery? 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
October 19, 2025Oct 19 Author Pyreegue EGPF Glasgow is obviously a third party airport, but I have landed there many times in the 777F and 737-600 without any problems. I do not think that it is the airport, as it happened three times over the weekend in the 777F, at three different airports.
