Glideslope warnings with PMDG 777F

Featured Replies

Is anyone else getting excessive glideslope warnings with the PMDG 777, even when you are virtually bang on the glideslope all the way down to touchdown? It has happened three times to me over the weekend. I have just landed at (Pyreegue) EGPF Glasgow, and I had a couple after passing through 100 feet when I was perfectly stabilised and on track

Yep, get this all the time to the point I bought a Landing Gear controller with a G/S inhibit button 😂

But in all seriousness Chris, not sure what causes it and if it is PMDG related or scenery related but the G/S inhibit button gets a lot of use on my end.

Interesting, I tried both ILS 05/23, autoland, and manual modes. No such warnings appeared. I noticed that on both autolands, the touchdowns occurred at or passed 2,000 ft. That's unacceptable and would cause an autoland evaluation to fail. Unfortunately, their products have been quite buggy lately. I wonder if it's an issue during installation (it happened to me that I had to install their products two or three times to fix some issues), or maybe you're using third-party scenery?

Pyreegue EGPF Glasgow is obviously a third party airport, but I have landed there many times in the 777F and 737-600 without any problems. I do not think that it is the airport, as it happened three times over the weekend in the 777F, at three different airports.
