reprojection mode and Quest 3

Featured Replies

I am using a Quest 3 and noticed at FS2024 VR graphics a "reprojection mode" setting, with 3 options: Off, Depth and Depth and motion (the later always revert to depth) .- Does my headset support that mode, what is it for, and how should be configurated. Thanks

I think the OpenXR toolkit author once specifically said that the reprojection in MSFS is essentially broken. I didn't see any obvious benefit when enabling it either.

I use reprojection in Virtual Desktop.  I think this has been optimized to make use of the headset GPU, rather than draining anything more from the PC GPU.  I think the smoothness it brings is worth the odd artefact and it's much better now than in the early days.
