November 23, 2025Nov 23 I think this is probably just down to supply and demand - by far the biggest markets for the sim are the USA/Canada and EU, so it's to be expected that the big hubs and even smaller regionals across these areas will be well covered, in comparison to the relatively few players in Asian markets. The landmass of Asia is also a lot larger and with limited payware choices, there are fewer options for the shortish hops that most simmers seem to enjoy. If you look at the number of detailed airports you can get to in an hour from FRA or LGA vs HKG or NRT, then it becomes obvious why most simmers tend to stick with the areas they know.
