December 12, 2025Dec 12 Hello, Even though I use a pair of 39" curved monitors each with a 2560x1080 resolution setting, I don't use P3D's Wide-Angle monitor option because it creates a flattened image where buildings and scenery are squeezed down to a flatter ratio which looks unrealistic. The problem with that is my external and cockpit view ranges seem much more limited where I can't for instance zoom out in the cockpit to see the entire console in a PMDG 737 or any other airliner. While I can still pan around to see everything, that can make things tough when, for instance, you are turning off the taxiway and want to switch off the takeoff lights, because panning to see the switches you lose visibility to where you're going! Does anyone know how to change the lower limit on the zoom range available in virtual cockpit and chase plan views? Right now the range is 0.30 to 512. I would love to get the lower limit able to go to .05 zoom.
