December 27, 2025Dec 27 I'm having a difficult time in starting 2020 it starts asking for safe or reg mode.. either way crashes on start up . Should I re-install or ? Thanks for looking Duffster
December 27, 2025Dec 27 Empty your community folder. Just move it to a temporary folder If all starts moves things back slowly until you fond the culprit Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
December 27, 2025Dec 27 Mine does that, now and again. Re @Ron Lefebvre 's suggestion; this where the MSFS Addons LInker is useful. It makes life easier when trying to turn stuff 'off'. I'd ignore the safe mode start and try again. If that fails, reboot and try again. If you installed from the MS Store, reinstalling ought to be easier.
December 27, 2025Dec 27 Just rename the community folder to communitybak. If it's ok then it may be an addon causing an issue. It also happens when the sim crashes or is incorrectly shut down. If you have a lot of addons, it's a bit of a pain trying to find the one causing the problem, but you may have some suspicions and at least try restarting without your most recent addons installed.
