In past threads, I was pretty critical about the A2A Aerostar.  This was mostly due to some serious sound issues.  Terrible crackling when in the external view and even some internal audio source files were distorting.   Initial reports to A2A support went in the direction of "checking my sound drivers, levels, etc" which was frustrating as I had no sound issues with any other content in MSFS 2024.

Anyway..... I just wanted to reflect that the update for the Aerostar that came out 2 weeks ago is absolutely flawless!

All sound issues are gone.  The external sounds are amazing and the internal sounds are now perfectly mixed, with not a crackle in sight.  There are also a number of other QoL improvements in the latest version.  It is one of the few addons that leverages a MSFS 2024 features that no-one seems to talk about - the fact that devs can now implement custom key assignments, per aircraft.  This is an absolute first in the MS franchise history.  In the standard keyboard controls assignments, you can find specific "A600" key commands.  If this is more widely adopted, one day we may not need progarms like AAO or SPAD running in the background as we fly.  It all adds up to a phenomenal addon now!   I have flown the Aerostar non-stop for the last 3 or 4 days.  It is now up there with the Comanche as one of the best aircraft addon packages I've seen in any sim.

I think it's important to reflect changes in our views and opinions on things (especially where they were critical), as a result of changes and updates that devs work hard to bring to fruition.
