Inbuilds A330 (MSFS 2024 Included)

Featured Replies

Slowly learning MSFS 2024 and found out that Ini A330 isn't that bad at all for default plane. Would like to take it for long haul ride, so I'm curious if the plane is capable to maintain 4x time compression without MCDU data being affected.

Thank you!

Yes, 4x can be easily (and smoothly) used for this iniBuilds default MSFS2024 A330.

So, no issue for long-haul at 4x, but I typically use it for cruise phase. Works well…I’ve flown quite a few long-hauls with it…

Forgot to add…

I think you can (conveniently) set the 4x sim-rate in the Settings Page of the EFB.

I might be mixing up a bit because I often fly the iniBuilds A330/A340/A350 interchangeably, but the sim-rate would appear at the top bezel of the EFB, so there is no guess work.

Strong enthusiast of the A330 here, and frequent traveler on it. The highest altitude I’ve ever flown in my life was on an (LH) A330…41,000+ ft, I recall..

Enjoy this nice default airplane in MSFS2024…until we get a better one from the premier developers…

You can use time acceleration with the INI A330 but like most INI aircrafts, the fuel flow rate stays at 1x, so you will land overweight.

In other words, those aircrafts are not made to be used with time acceleration, which is sad considering they are long haul aircrafts.

Will Inibuilds fix it in the future? I have some doubts.

That's really sad. But I can adjust fuel manually in MCDU when switching back to normal speed mode, can't I?

You can adjust the fuel via the iniBuilds EFB in mid-flight, but it has its own undesirable consequences.

So, we’ll have to decide our tolerance for simulation vs. realism. But, as said, these airliners are meant for long haul (this A330ceo can fly 15+ hours), so, 1x might be impractical for some of us…🙂…but we can manage it if it is reduced to about to 4 hours…

I see you’re located around KIAD…for a moment, I (mistakenly) thought you might be from YMML, Australia…🙂

I’m actually planning the Qantas’ Project Sunrise flight with the iniBuilds A350-1000…22 hours and crossing the 10,000 miles barrier for the first time. The RW planned flight (London-Sydney) will be the world’s longest flight.

I’ll use 4x sim-rate and see how it goes…🙂
