February 12Feb 12 It may only be my setup but MSFS2024 creates conditions that result in a much higher TAT at cruise altitude than it should be. The only way i have found to fix this is using the custom weather settings in msfs2024 to adjust the flight level temperature for every flight. I was wondering if any of you AAO geniuses could suggest a way to fix this using AAO? Parker Freeman - KTPAi7 [email protected], Asus Maximus X, Nvidia 1080TI, Win 10 , Saitek X65
February 15Feb 15 No, this is an issue with Live weather, there isn't a way for AAO to turn live weather off for you. | i7-14700KF - 4080 SUPER | 32 GB RAM | Win 11 Pro | HC Bravo | AAO | StreamDeck |
February 15Feb 15 Commercial Member Don't think so. Officially =in the SDK documentation, the SimConnect functions to control the weather are gone. They still exist in the DLL, but I doubt that they work. Their equivalent in AAO would be the "SET_METAR" / "SET_WEATHER..." commands. Maybe creating a saved flight with the desired weather choices could help? That you then load every time and then change the location? (not sure if that will work though) Edited February 15Feb 15 by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
