Possible AAO fix for msfs2024 TAT at altitude bug?

Featured Replies

It may only be my setup but MSFS2024 creates conditions that result in a much higher TAT at cruise altitude than it should be.  The only way i have found to fix this is using the custom weather settings in msfs2024 to adjust the flight level temperature for every flight.  I was wondering if any of you AAO geniuses could suggest a way to fix this using AAO?

No, this is an issue with Live weather, there isn't a way for AAO to turn live weather off for you.

Don't think so. Officially =in the SDK documentation, the SimConnect functions to control the weather are gone. They still exist in the DLL, but I doubt that they work. Their equivalent in AAO would be the "SET_METAR" / "SET_WEATHER..." commands.

Maybe creating a saved flight with the desired weather choices could help? That you then load every time and then change the location? (not sure if that will work though)
