I'm wondering about the function of some of the subfolders of the "airports" directory. Would it be safe to assume that the "learned" and "snapshots" folders can be deleted after 14.5 becomes available?

Dont know what you mean with snapshots?  

But no, don’t delete anything. The learned files contain your favourite parameter settings.

The additional parked traffic entries will automatically disappear from the learned file because the old stand IDs are no longer recognised. New learned traffic for the updated stand IDs will automatically replace them.

The "snapshots" folder contains (in my case) 14 .xml files from the period Mar - Aug 2024, the files were generated by PSXT version 6.1.4 to 7.8.7

Here is an example:

Oh, I cannot even remember that name, so long ago. Probably learned 'avant la lettre' ?  😉

It is not a folder that PSXT is using,so you may delete it.
